Learning to Paint

We are learning to mix and blend colours. We used our skills to paint a sheet of paper. We then cut the paper into leaf shapes and arranged them on a blue painted background.

We are learning to add and subtract. We like playing this game on the ipad to help us.

We used pastels and dyes to make our Autumn Leaves pictures.

I Am Learning Scooter Skills

We had a special day at school to learn how to be safe on our scooters. It was fun.

I Am Learning to Find the Beginning Sound

We were using the ipads to play phonics games. We had to listen to the word and then choose the  letter that made the beginning sound. 

"I like to go on the ipad. I finally got them all right."

I Am Learning About Fractions

We are learning about halves. It can be tricky sometimes to give them the same amount each when we share things. When we cut things in half both pieces must be the same size.

"I was cutting them in half so they were the same size. I shared the lollies so they had half each. they had to be the same. I liked doing this."

I Am Learning To Write a Sentence

I am learning to write a sentence about my picture. I need to remember to put a capital letter at the beginning and a full stop at the end. I also need to remember to leave finger spaces.

"Sometimes it is tricky to remember finger spaces. Capital letters go at the beginning and full stops at the end. I like story writing."
