it was fun doing it. I learnt that squirrels and Raccoons do hibrnation

Add numbers with coins

I am learning to add numbers with coins. I was counting the numbers on the coin and seeing if it a dollar or cents. I have the dollar sign when it is the dollars. It was easy because they weren't that much big numbers in coins.

contractions

I am learning About contractions. I know it because when the words get smashed together the words still mean the same thing. The apostrophe shows which letters are missing. It was easy because I think of what it means and put it in the two words.

youth town

Yesterday I did Youth town it was fun I played an obstacle course it was fun I like doing it because when you do it you can have a computation and the other game was cat and mouse  this is how you play one mouse goes and and one cat goes and trying to get the mouse if cat got mouse cat got a point if mouse runs away then mouse get a point.

WIALT :Make connections to self

I was learning to make connections to self. I can think about something that has happened in the story and has kind of happened to me. It was in the middle a little bit hard and a little bit easy.

 Maori language week is fun you can learn how to count up to 99 and more I learnt how to

Today I was creating a nest. It was fun and I used leaves and twigs. I'm not done yet but soon I will I pick the leaves for the nest.

This conservation week. I'm protecting birds. I'm leaning about birds that live in NZ silver eye is native in NZ. In this picture i'm wearing a silver eye mask!

it was easy to do the new word it was hard to do the meaning of the word.

I was learning to think about simple inferences. I could see what each person did in the sentences. It was easy because I thought about what they do.

Maths: count in tens

I was learning to count in tens. I can add ten to numbers. It was easy to do the high numbers.

Writing: instructions

2 Put the chocolate chips .
3 Mix the flour and baking powder.

I was learning to write instructions. I can use a verb to put them in the correct order.

I was learning to summarise. I can put the ideas in order.

Baking ANZAC biscuits .

I Made ANZAC biscuits its cooling  down right now it was fun to make the biscuits I like to make the biscuits.

Hosts for Y3/4 assembly

Today I was the host for the year 3 and 4 assembly with Tara. I was excited when Miss Lister chose me to do it because it has been a dream and now I am doing it like in the dream. It was lots of fun. 

Maths: tens and ones

I was learning about tens and ones. I know a little bit more about tens and ones. It was really tricky to do the tens.

Reading: main character

I was learning to talk about the main character in the story. I learnt how to talk about what the character does. It was tricky to talk about the personality.

Spelling: short vowel sounds

Spelling reflection i was learning to write wends with short vowel sounds. I know how listen for the a sound it was tricky to think of the words.

Our class treaty

Reflection: Our class treaty relates to EPS. It is related to our values. There are hands to make a promise to follow the things in the class treaty. 

water skills: kicking

I am learning to kick with My legs when i hold the bar. I think I am getting better.
